Two for the Show
Despite having a small team this season, head coach Mikyla Burns is looking forward to seeing the boys team compete.
“We are a very small team this year but we two boys that work hard,” coach Burns.
Both runners are underclassmen and their success this season could spark an interest with others potential runners at school.
Landon Thweat is a freshman this year in his first competitive year of varsity cross country. Coach Burns said his experience in middle school should help him this season.
“Landon accomplished and competed a lot last year as an eighth grader, and I’m sure he will continue that as a freshman,” said Burns.
Victor Silva is the second member of the team and is in his sophomore season. Victor and Landon are both excited to represent Broken Bow High School and compete against larger teams.
