Broke Bow athlete Tyrin Tinajero spoke to VYPE in an interview.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
Tyrin: My personal goals this year is to be a better player every practice and every game, and to get far to play for the state title.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Tyrin: The teammate that left the biggest impression on me was Kieler Young, because he showed me how to score on many levels and helped me get better every practice.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
Tyrin: My favorite part of being on the team is we’re all competitive and hungry to win every game we got on our schedule.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Tyrin: The sport taught me you can’t do everything on your own, you need everyone on the court to win.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Tyrin: Best advice I’ve got was “How hard you work is the only thing you can control, you’re responsible for how people remember you or don’t, so don’t take the process lightly”~ Taylor Skieens

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Tyrin: My mom inspires me because she pushes me to be better every day and never gives up on me on this journey through sports.
