
Broken Bow boy’s track team has four (‘59, ‘62, ‘66, ‘96) state titles to their credit.
This season marks the 60th anniversary of the 1962 team who won the second state title for the Savages in Class B.
Did You Know…In 1962 only one Broken Bow athlete walked away with a state title in a single event. That winner was Bill Clouse who won the 440-yard race.
Bill Couse’s son, Billy Clouse, would go on to represent Broken Bow and become of their all-time decorated track competitors in 2020.
As a program, Broken Bow has 13 total state titles.
