Broken Bow High School cheerleader and basketball player Molly Rogers uses sports and mission trips to live her faith.
“I love going on mission trips all around the world,” Rogers said. “I have been to Orange Beach, Colorado, Belize and this year, I’m going to Utah!”
Rogers believes she is called to missions – “I love serving people all around the world,” she said.
“It has taught me to enjoy the things that I have and the church that I have,” Rogers said.
Playing multiple sports at Broken Bow has provided pivotal life lessons for Rogers, as she has made many “amazing” memories.
“Showing up to practice on time, being coachable and having a good attitude towards other teammates,” Rogers said. “My faith in Christ defines how I show up. I want to be a servant, a good teammate who looks out for others. I want to work hard to honor the lord.”
Rogers takes her leisure where she can get it. Family is an important aspect of her life.
“I also love to spend time and take vacations with my large family,” Rogers said. “I enjoy spending time with my many cousins and my two sisters.”
Rogers is working to obtain a license in cosmetology and plans to work in a salon after she graduates.
