Molly Rogers is a teammate who has earned Raylee’s admiration. Molly’s leadership qualities have left a lasting impression on Raylee. “She has taught me how to be a leader, inclusive, and how to handle adversity,” Raylee said.

In the classroom, Brandi Brannan takes the spotlight as Raylee’s favorite teacher. Her skill in making challenging subjects like Pre-Calculus accessible has been instrumental in Raylee’s academic journey.

Raylee’s dedication doesn’t waver during the offseason. She, along with teammates Katie Rogers, Aubrey Hightower, and Gen Smith, spent time in the gym preparing for the upcoming season. Coach Smith, from the boys’ basketball team, played a significant role in their training.

The sport of basketball imparts valuable life lessons. Raylee underscores the importance of resilience in the face of adversity and the need for unwavering self-confidence, even during challenging times. These are traits she carries into her daily life.

Raylee has her eyes set on a grand goal for the season – playing at the Big House during the state tournament. A testament to her ambition and dedication, this goal reflects her aspiration for her team’s success.

Raylee eagerly anticipates the Little River Rivalry, where Broken Bow faces off against Idabel. With a strong and talented team, Idabel promises to be a challenging opponent.

Beyond high school, Raylee envisions playing collegiate basketball while obtaining a degree, setting her sights on a bright future both on and off the court.
